Crime News Thursday

Some Americans think that just because they are overseas, they are not responsible for their actions in a United States court of law.  In most cases, this is true.  However, a 2003 law made traveling overseas to have sex with underage children (a form of sex tourism) a crime prosecutable in this country.  Prosecutions like this show that American courts protect more than just American well-being.

  1. And this was made expecially clear when one of Penn’s own professors was convicted this week for doing just this! Talkbout an ugly American approach to the world. “Let’s find the poorest, most desperate young men and bribe them for sexual favors!”
